As the title states.. Has anyone on here damaged, blown up etc. there motor using the Juice?? As well if you are spraying a stock bottom end how big of a shot have you used with out any failure..

As far as I can remember being on this forum and the old one I do not recall anyone complaning of Engine damage with the spray...

Anyway post up

I know of two in houston, both on 150 shots, both threw the #3 rod. Neither truck was babied...
..
I've seen people who claim there spraying 200 shots and there fine...

Several here have blown while spraying...if you spray with stock internals its not a question of will it blow...it is when....cheaper to forge a running engine than one has a window in the crankcase..;)

I am running a 150 shot regularly with no problems at all, so far. I have a 200 shot in it right now but it does make me nervous. These engines LOVE nitrous. Get a good system and HANG ON.

haha Where is Dom (505'sfastestViper)? Because of Dom's misfortune at our local track, it changed the wife's mind on adding go go juice to her truck.

But then again, Dom came back FULL force (and them some) and has the badest SRT10 around. IMO

So is there a safe limit on the amount for a stock engine

With any F.I. on these engines.... You take a chance at blowing them..... There is one guy on here making 700 whp on stock botom end w/ just head work.....

150 shot is safe anything else and you make want to change your fuel system. 650 hp is what our fuel system is rated so anyhting over that and you risk runnig lean and well everyone knows what happens then. PM Justin he has the juice figured out.

I am going to try a 100 shot this summer

I am scared of blowing the motor with just a tune ,so I will be really nervous with the N2O

I think it was Big Asp who blew an engine with bolt-ons and a tune :dontknow:

you should be fine with a 100 shot just make sure its a wet kit and a good tune (sean or justin). I was running a hundred shot no problems. Now I will get to run the nos and the s/c now that I am Forged with a better tune from sean:marchmellow: :marchmellow:

Just running a stock engine hard will shorten the life. Modification magnifies the process.

But, if you are afraid of the expense of engine repairs, you should not have purchased the Ram SRT 10. They are a storming beast, and there is a cost to pay for that pleasure. And the more storm you have in that engine the greater the chance that lightening will strike! Most of us pay to play, and enjoy the process, over and over again.
