Years ago,When I purchased my 1st computer. I tried a speech recognition program ,,Dragon Naturally speaking on my computer... It worked somewhat but was not anywhere near what I expected or advanced..
Now, I find I have a Microsoft speech recognition program already on my computer...Before I set it up ,,,,,Has anyone used it??? Is it worth a damn???
I would hate to have to go through the set-up process used on Dragon Naturally speaking... That took way to long....I'm talking weeks:mad: to set up.

wish ya luck.

went through the same thing with dragon years ago. never did get it to work. think it was my Texas accent & curse words really screwed it up.

the new speech software is getting better slowly Google has a good one but its a waste of time, unless you really suck at typing.. then it might be good for you.. But for many people now days they can type faster than they can speak clearly.. so its useless .. Just take some typing classes and you'll be good..
