Has this ever happen to ur truck before

was just wondering if this has happen to anybody elses truck before
when you first crank it up it starts up perfect.
but when it cranks it only idles between 500-750 rpm
and sometimes it shuts off completely, but when i start driving you can't even tell what it was doing, it doesn't back fire,act like it's missing or anything. just while it sitting still. i've never ran any kind of racing gas or anything like that in it, but if I fill it up and run octain booster it runs fine
for a couple of days then right back to the same thing..I took it to the THE DODGE DEALERSHIP and the sevice guy told me that all srt rams did that.but this ain't normal. other than driving it around this past week or so , i haven't drove he truck! the truck only has 19k miles on it.. is it posable that it has
some bad wires or bad plugs in it...or do i just keep getting bad gas,
if this has happen to anybody else before please let me know what do with it.
should i go ahead and put some roe acing plugs and wires on it,
or should i just take it in..

Sounds like it might be the Throttle Position Sensor, or TPS. A common prob, that should be easily fixed.

Mine does it too. It's done it ever since I got the volant cai.

I would think twice about using octane booster..It has been discussed before and it is general consensus that it is not a good idea..

Yep, it's a common problem and not "normal".

its more then likely your idol air control valve. mine was doing the same thing, replaced it and problem gone.

air control valve fixed yours, i know that the ford lightings done
something close to the samething becauce my brother has one and
his was the idol control valve... thought maybe the same thing...
its cool that u can ask about something on here and u get told right what
it is....on the other fourms if i did this they'd say "pm so-n-so they got an SRT RAM and they might can tell ya what to do"
