Header coating ?s

My buddy just picked up a set of headers for his tbss. He said he doesn't want to spend the money jet coating and he says theres a spray you can do yourself. Is this true, I told him I wasn't sure Id try and help him out. Also if the only right way to go is jet coat then does anyone know of a place that does the coating in the lower ny area.

Even with a spray, you will have to cure it. Most likely it will come off if not prepped entirely correct. Tough to do yourself and have it last.

dependin on what he wants and what size they are , I can beat jet hots prices, and give him a better job, prob jsut for the headers aobut $350 minus shipping, but too it matters if they are long tube or shorties, but paint will def not last

its best to just save up the coin and get it done right....he'll thank himself in the long run......

Dont know about their exhaust coatings but other products I've used from POR15 have surpassed my expectations.
