Hi folks

I just finished packing the headers in my bag, bubble wrapped and put some cardboard inside but it still sounds of metal when I light drop it in the pavement.

I'm really scared about the people handling the luggage at the airports, plus the flight is not direct.

what do you suggest to do? uncoated headers are still better than dinged or bent or even lost ones...

I asked a shop in UK, it costs 600 Pounds to coat :dontknow:

Just make sure they are wrapped really well enough to handle a good shock, like a drop from several meters. You know I travel a whole lot and often the luggage is mis-handled by personnel who just don't care. I really do hope you get those home safely.

Make sure you post pictures after the install along with another secret family pasta recipe.:D

Have Luana hid them under her skirt!:D

Sorry we will not get a chance to tour the Keys Gabriele...Ana has pointed herself directly at Marathon.

I would wrap them with a cloth of some sort towels wrap around each pipe and tape it all down and then secure them to eachother very tightly so there is no movement between both of the headers.. then more cloth around the outside or foam.. Bubble wrap will just pop and be garbage with no protection .....

I'm not going to carry them :-( I could barely close the zip.. don't have a bigger luggage and it would not be allowed

LMFAO i brought back a Magnaflow catback in a holdall just like that, man i had a job to lift it myself, the look on the poor girls face at check in when she put it on the scales  .Any way i wrapped it in mickey mouse towels that i stole uh i mean borrowed. When i opened it back home it had a checked by customs card in there but no damage god bless the luggage handlers.
Good luck with it Gabriele and have a great trip

I wouldn't worry about it too much... just wrap it in some towels, and it'll be good to go.

I'm struggling... I'll decide at the last minute this night...

I can't fit anything more in that bag... no towels

Finally headers are back in Italy, coated, safe and sound!

boxed them, secure wrapped, they opened for security, I was watching through the doors, then wrapped again.

incredible: they didn't even lose our luggages!

Caltracs are at home as well, thanks Stinker!
