headlight Assemblys?

I had the projector headlights in my last ram SRT-10. They are a pain in the ass to adjust and are very fragile. I dont think they'll hold up to HID heat, jmo.

"THANKS 505!"

something to consider...the ones with the clear corner lights may not pass inspection.(not DOT approved) read the disclamer below, in the e-bay ad.

I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the projectors.... a couple of guys on 'another forum' seem really happy with the bosch projector setup.... I'll keep everyone posted ...

thanks

We have actually had good feedback from our customers that have been using our HID kits along with the projector headlamps that we sell. We have them available from 04-07 fitments. Here is the link to the products:

By changing over to the projector healamp you can install and HID kit and still retain your high beam functionality.

I just installed a set of these projector style headlights on Annu's truck. It states right on the headlight assembly that they should NOT be used with HID. Not stating that you can or cannot. Just pointing out what it says.

Mine said the same thing (has the same ones) but through HID's in there for over a year with no problems...

The reason they say that is for DOT issues. HID conversion kits are not considered to be street legal.

I Just did projector heads and fogs in my truck im a little pissed that one of the halos dont work and they have send me a new light but i will post pics when the snow clears mine where easy to adjust and all i just have to do is wire up my h.i.d.s.
F.Y.I the projectors are h1 style blubs and the input is 9006 so you just have to wire off the headlight harness and make sure not to bottom out the blub inside the projector and take out the metal refector inside and you should be fine

where did you guys pickup your projectors??? I've seen some for 300 I've seen some for 500 (which I believe comes with Bosch ballasts/bulbs)... normally I assume you get what you pay for ... <shrug>

Careful with Bosch ballasts/ballasts. Keep in mind that BOSCH is not affiliated with BOSCH GROUP. The HID kit that is currently on the market that uses bosch label is manufactured in China.
