Headlight Question

Ok I have a question about my headlights. Bought a set of LED headlights and when i took out my OEM Headlights and I saw where the previous owner hard wired the OEM Fog lights to automatically come on when you turn on the parking lights. Never really paid attention to it. Since they are hard wired, you can never turn them off, they stay on when the parking lights are on, they are on when the headlights are on , they are on when the high beams are on. I wanted to know if it was a bad thing if i were to install the new headlights with the current set up or if i should undo the current set up and then install the new headlights. Do you think it will be too much of a Load if i install them with the fog lights hard wired?

On the Driver Side:The Fog lights and the small LEDs ( 6 total/ headlight) would be connected to the turn signal wire (White/Yellow wire) and would always be on if i turn the parking lights on. If i turn on the Head lights or my brights the Fog lights and LEDs will stay on as well.

On the passenger side:Same thing the LEDs would be wired to the turn signal wire (Gray/White wire) and will stay on all the time until i turn off the parking lights.

I don't mind them being on all the time unless this is a bad thing...(i.e. will be too much of a load, will drain the crap out of the battery, blow a fuse, cause the truck to run weak etc ...)

If I'm you I wouldn't do it like that . I would unwire my fog light from my head lights .

When I had my 05 I bought those halo Headlights (off eBay) I put a 10000k HiD kit in the lowbeams. I cut the parklight wire from the amber signal bulb and attached the wire to the 6 led bulbs along the bottom and the signal was still the amber bulb so it was still legal. But all you saw going downthe road was blue lights. I never did hook up the halo rings. But I would remove the wires from the fogs if you want there is a fusebox mod to keep you fogs on when you turn on the highbeams.

I can turn on the Fog lights with out turning on the headlights. The Fog lights are wired into the parking lights (orange signal light). I cant turn off the Fog lights at all unless i turn the switch to the off position.

The previous owner left the original set up there, he just tapped into the signal wires. When you pull back on the Fog light switch inside the truck you can still hear it click like its sending voltage/current to the fog lights but there already on. When you push the swith back in to turn off the fog lights, it clicks again as if its stopping the votage/current but the fog lights stay on. So if i cut the hard wire, and do the fuse box mod I should be able to turn the Fogs lights on and off to my descretion, the LED's would come on when the parking lights are on and the fog lights would stay on if i did the high beams?
