He hit him on the elbow......4 sure! then Howard BLOWS the timeout call! What a rookie! I was front and center last night and HOLY SHIT!!!! what a game...Took my Mom to her FIRST ever basketball game....she is RUINED! Never to see a game that great again.....She cant stop talkin about it....as most know shes had a rough time of it lately so it was a great thing!

I'm glad you and your mother had a good time. :cool: A Finals game is definitely a site to be seen. (My first ever NBA Finals game was in Chicago, believe it was game 6 in 1992 versus the Trailblazers and Clyde the Glyde) :cool:

That right there is 3/4's of the fun.

If anything, I can look at this as a way to make even more money. You as a excited Heat fan (and justifiably so), see a team that just won 3 games in a row, and are rolling with momentum. I as a bettor see a team that won by two points at home, and then 2 games later, won by an asshair (one point) at home in a game they had to have. Now I see the series shifting back to Dallas, where the home team won each game comfortably.

I know, I know, if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. But you have to at least realize the possibility of this Heat team, as well as they are playing, could already be done, if the ball bounces just a little differently in two of their "should wins".

This is going to be a great series. To the victor goes the spoils. And Miami needed all three of those. And they got em. Now we'll see if Dallas can just hold serve.

As for the 17-5 ATS Dallas team. I dodged one of the 5 by not betting on game 4 against Mem, thought they may take one at home (Dal won by 1 pt., missing the spread). And for one other, I didnt like the spread (Game 4 of the finals), so decided to go Moneyline on Dallas. I thought Game 4 might be a blowout win for one side or the other, and I wasn't justified in my own mind by taking Dallas and the points. I didnt hit that night (I touched it lightly), but my justifications were on point. All that said, Ive touched every single other game (including some O/U bets, winning marg. bets, and race to 20 bets, all with sig. less coin), and have done juuuuust a bit better than O.K. (betting one unit per contest) ;) :D So don't cry for me Argentina, just have your boys ready to play on Tuesday, and on Thursday. ;) :D

Good luck to both teams in the coming days. :cool: Gonna be an exciting finish.

Game 7 will not be played my brotha....say all u want. I agree, makin money and ur team losin is better than not covering and still losin. Thats what my brother said when I came out of the game to find 2 wheels bent (26's) and 2 flat tires. On the way home in the tow truck (with my girl sitting on my lap for 76 miles) my brother looks over at me and says....how bad would this suck if we woulda lost?? I smiled and quit bitchin! :)
 
There will be a game 7, you can bet on that. I know I am! Like I have said earlier I don't have a dog in this fight, but it looks like it is going to be all about the home court, with each team winning every game at home. Not to take anything away from the Heat, but I don't see them winning in Dallas. A one point overtime win at home with Stack sitting in the hotel watching just isn't that impressive.

I want it to go 7 anyway, anything to delay betting on baseball LOL.

Besides, if it were over, what the f*%k would me and OC have to do for the rest of the summer? :idea: Cause I sure as hell do not wager money on baseball games. (lol) 'Specially regular season. NBA comparatively is a hobby for me. College football is my game. It's my religion. It's what I live for, and yearn to watch (and wager). And I've already read/studied myself SICK on the upcoming 06 season. Not lookin forward to this series ending.

But beneath it all, YES I am a Mavs fan, and YES, they gon' kick dat ass. :D ;)

That is funny hehehe. 2 1/2 months til college (already know I'm taking ASU on 8/31 LOL) and then another week until the pros. They need to start the basketball season a little later so they are always either playing hoops or football.
 
Baseball does SuCK!! I hate it! Football is my sport really, but Ill take bball any day also....its 50/50 i guess. yeah, Im wishful thinkin a little bit on the Heat, but at least im consistent...HEAT in 6
 
I said from the get go.... the winner of game 5 would win the championship. If dallas had won last night, i would say its over for the heat, and versa. That was a tough game for both teams. I think this seris everyone has had good calls and bad calls, both for and against each team. If the shoe was on the other foot, you mavs fans would be saying the same thing we are saying, so MAN UP!!! Its just part of the game. But game 5 was a huge game for both teams. I think that game 5 was the straw that broke the camels (dallas) back. Its going to be another close game for game 6,heat by 2, and take the championship in dallas. "If" and thats a "BIG IF" they lose game six its def over for the heat. I highly doubt it though.

GO HEAT!!!! phock those crybaby, sore losing , sorry arss MAVS!!!! and HOWARD learn how to call a timeout too.
