why dont dodge quit playing games and put the 8.4 600hp viper motor into a single year modern srt-10 truck.

Dodge needs to pull the trigger and put the SRT 8 6.4 Hemi in a R/T or make a new Rumble Bee. Put a supercharger on it. Put the 6 speed or one the new loose converter autos in it. Dodge has all the stuff to do it with right in house. It would be bad ass.:burnout:

yes the 6.4 is pulling 470 at fly wheel and 440 at tires on the 392 challys w/ auto n/a
but no the 5.7s are pulling 390 in the Rams at the fly wheel slightly higher in the LXs the 500 is estimated with a s/c at low boots (5 or so lbs)

just the 6.4 with a truck tune would be bad ass hope they do it and a 6- speed would be awesome in all HEMI Rams even behind the 5.7

RC, 6 speed, blower, 6.4 SRT, I'd even take the new 6 speed auto, lower it just a little, make it handle like the 1st Gen Lightnings, put the 70 AAR Chally hood on it, put SRT badging, Rumble Bee, R/T, Little Red Express or no badges. Even in this economy Dodge couldn't build enough. I'll be the first in line. Come on Dodge, just do it.
 
haha...they're not that smart! They miss the mark more than they hit it!
Dont get me wrong...I LOVE my 10! And I love MOPARs! But they have the wrong people making the big decisions! This is the NEW Dodge...remember? What the people want doesnt matter...its what THEY THINK we want that makes it to the showroom floor. And that is why they struggle to make it.
 
You are so right, Dodge has a chance to make a muscle truck from hell, but they won't, pussies.
