Found this on another site and thought it was cool, if your a fan of "Dirty Harry".....

This has to REALLY piss of the Viper guys. Now being the king of the HP hill. I'm with you, if they put this motor in the pickup I will be trading my 10 in.
The guys on the Alley are debating whether or not an 8 speed hellcat will outrun a Gen V on the dragstrip. I can't wait for this car to come out.
I wish, when I can get one for $20,000:rofl:maybe, I will never be able to own one of them and those who can....God Bless:burnout::rock:
I hear ya' but if they do put it in a truck these 10's will be piling up with no buyers........and a lot of unhappy owners.

Oh would that make me happy. Not that I want any of our folks to be burned but what I could do if these trucks were cheap, say 1/2 of todays value. :burnout:

Can't we get a whole lot more HP than this from our trucks. At least enough to make it fun. Seems I recall Dom and his truck. Believe it would smoke the 707 guys. :rock:

Sides that, we still got the fastest production truck in existence. There are lots of cars that can out run us but trucks? No way.

Just read the many pages over on Viper Alley about this car. Apparently it has run 10.94 at the strip. It will definitely be interesting to see the end result.

Yep, but Giles said, "no more Viper trucks" so wondering if they would put that much power into a pickup. :dontknow:
But----the SRT8 can never lay claim to having a V-10 Viper engine.

How much would it take to give an SRT-10 that much power in a new production truck? :dontknow:
I don't see this engine making it into a Ram, especially with a 6 speed. But, personally, I'd rather have a 6 speed Hellcat Ram than a Hellcat Challenger!

too bad newer cars are getting faster and faster. It's time to mod more or be left behind.
I think the hellcat will hurt the gt500's feelings. Auto 8 speed is where it's at.:rock:
For those that CAN afford to buy a hellcat ram if something was ever made, just buy the engine and put it in your truck. It wont be cheap or easy but it will be fast. Then again, slapping a single turbo kit on your built engine will be better.
