I've been on this site for awhile now and actually started out on the other site (NFFF as ya'll call it) till I found the link to this site and noticed everyone was switching over so I came over and haven't looked back since.

I picked up my 06 Black (The Best Color) RC (the wing is staying on for now) from my hometown Pitsburgh (SuperBowl Champs) in May after returning from Japan like JapanAaron I too spent 12 years in Japan (loved it and wished I could stay longer) upon getting reassigned back in the states I decided to go and order (The Beast) my truck. I am now stationed in South Dakota (does anyone else live around here?)

I can't say enough about being the owner of this Ram SRT 10. I have read all the posts about people explaining how it is. And for anybody who doesn't know it feels just like everyone says. When driving around you can't help but grin from ear to ear while the necks break as you drive by.

I have already PM'd Boomer about some parts for it. And believe me Boomer I wanna get everything you have to offer for it. I'm just waiting for the money to fall from the sky to buy it. I did however go ahead and get the side windows tinted, a billet fuel door, the K&N Intake and swapped out the OEM headlights for the Midnight Runners (Thanks to Scrambler1 for providing the part #'s).

I am pleased to finally introduce myself to this forum. From just sitting on the forum reading I can see that this forum has alot of good people and the knowledge factor is so helpful.

Thanks for the welcome and I will post some pics later on today after I get home from work.

Welcome. Where are you in Dakota? I spent a lot of time up in Sioux City. And I make it to Sturgis every couple of years, not this year though.

Welcome to the Zoo. This IS the place to be, enjoy yourself and thank you for your service for our country.

Bill.

The Midnight Runners are OEM straight from the Dodge parts store. I like them. At first I was thinking about sticking with the chrome ones and doing all accesories (door handles, tailgate, fuel door) chrome but I changed my mind and decided I wanna make it as dark(Stealth) as possible. Now I just need to place an order with Boomer for the billet handles and fuel door. I'm still searching for a nice set of tails. I haven't seen any that really catch my eye yet.

Oh yeah here are the part numbers for the Midnight Runners:

553728 14AB
553728 15AB

One is right side and the other is left I can't remember which is which.

Is it setup different on the 04'-05's?

I gotta question for you. I put in the K&N Intake yesterday and in the instruction you need to take out the battery tray but mounted to the side of the tray is the ECU and the instruction doesn't mention anything about what to do with it. So I just shoved it down in the corner under some wires and zip tied it in place. Do the 04'-05's have it mounted there too? and if so why doesn't the K&N instructions mention anything about it?

Welcome bub! :) You chose your color well!

So, I notice you still have PA inspection stickers and license plate - Is the truck with you in S. Dakota, or back here in Pa?

I have it here in South Dakota. I'm in the military and don't have to change plates. I'm just wondering how it going to work come inspection time? Also they gave me an emmissions exempt sticker in PA (I'm not complaining) But I was just wondering if anyone else registered in PA is emmissions exempt?
