I guess its about time I make my first post. I purchased a red 05 QC back in May. The previous owner took very good care of it, looks brand new still. As far as I can tell the only mods the previous owner had installed was a K/N cold air intake and a borla cat back exhaust. I went ahead and purchased a SCT from roe two days ago, along with a 170 thermostat and installed/flashed last night. From everything I read at this site those seemed like the best options for someone on a tight budget. I really notice the difference. I took it out this morning to open it up and see how it drives and the best way to describe it would be to say "it's woken up" with the roe tune.

A little about me .... I am from Boston, I have been in the army a little over 6 years now. I am currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY....the 3rd Brigade Combat Team has been my home for the last 4 1/2 years. I am a Staff Sergeant with 27 months time in iraq, and 12 months of Afghanistan coming up. I am hoping to have as much fun in my truck as I can before we deploy again.

I know you guys are going to say get some pics up.....I will, I have just been pretty busy the last couple of months.

oh yeah I almost forgot, anyone on here from my area?? I have seen two RC SRT's around the city. A CE and a silver.

Welsome SSG:rock: from Ft Irwin:eek: God I hate this place

You wanna trade duty stations?????????

Welcome from Long Island. Can you get me a deal on Jim Beam? I'll trade your for famous Long Island corn or tomatoes.:p :D

You guys are great. To the two guys from Kentucky, defenitally we will have to get together some time. I know my way around the state pretty good, I was stationed at Fort knox for a year before moving down here to Fort Campbell. Also, 102582 is my B-day also....defenitally will have to meet up.

As for Fort Irwin, sorry really like Fort Campbell, not moving until the Army makes me.....My girlfriend would probably approve of the move though, she is from cali.

Not sure if anyone on here is who owned the car before me, I got it from a dealership in Hopkinsville, KY (patriot chevy). If you are out there and sold it, post and let us know.

I'll be making a few trips up to Boston over the next 6 months, so if there will be any G2G's along the way at the same time I'll be sure to stop by.
