:dontknow: ok i still got the stock perrilli tires on the truck but there super bald now i burned them out n im losing a shit load of traction. i don't know much about tires wats the best tire i can but on the 22''s tha would give me the best traction

Phil (Big Asp) tried the KDW's and in his opinion they were worse than the stockers. I'm thinking about going with the Toyo Proxie ST's myself.

I just put a set of General and so far i'm happy with it ,the speed quote is not as high as the Pirelli's ,i dont drive pretty often over 100mph i just reach it FAST...

We do sometime to make a list of all the 22's that will fit, that sure would make it easier:D
A list would help alot. :burnout:

I would like to see a list of all 20" and 18" drag radial brands/types/sizes too.

Check with Discount Tire in Atlanta and Tire Rack, both are on the internet
Discount Tire includes shipping in their pricing, Tire Rack does not.
Pick any tire that you like the tread pattern on and give them a try.
Replacement Piriellis are about 205.00 ea. including freight most are priced near that.

on a quick look for tires i see there are 2.

SCORPION ZERO ASIMETRICO BW 114 W<... stock sells for around $290.00
GOODYEAR FORTERA SL BW 114 H<..................... sells for around $337.00

im sure that there are more brands but dont have access to them yet:dontknow:.

i will alos want a diffrent tire with more traction when i where these down.

The General Grabber UHP's look pretty good for the price. I've got a friend that just put some on his truck (hemi w/22's) and has given a good report. They have great reviews from users at Tire Rack. I will probably be getting a set when the time comes. My local guy can get them for me at about $160 each.

I am definatly happy with them so far and really like the agresive look of the treads .

hey so a question about the tires, what is the treadwear number? i have seen it from 300, 420, 460 and 500. it that for traction? and what 1 is better higer number of lower number?

THe higher the tread wear numbers the better the mileage. But there is a catch. Tire companies rate the wear rating according to tires within their line. So you can't take a treadwear rating from goodyear of say 250 and compare it to a tread wear rating from any other tire company at 200 and think that the Goddyear will out wear the others. Also the traction rating is for stopping on dry pavement. It has nothing to do with traction on a wet surface or ice. I am using Yokohamas on my truck and have liked them.

I put a set of KDW2's on my magnum RT and those tires cornored like no other! I might give them a go.....what is the size that fits our truck?

I got about 26,000 on my Pirellis, went with Nitto's 420 for the mileage thing !!!!Sitting at 40,000 mi right now,I've been real happy with them so far !!!!Haven't really tried the performance with them, can't afford anymore tickets right now !!!

Patrick, I got 28,000 mi. on my stock tires. Rotated every 3000 mi. Do you want performance or mileage? I do not think you will get both. Granted you may not run at high speed much, But cornering And handling might make a difference. I put on the BFG KDW2's 6,000 mi. ago,And am very happy with them. Un- like the stock tires they are round. I'm just saying check em out.you might be surprised. Look at it this way, As fast as we go through tires they wont be on there long anyway.:D :D :D

I was hoping someone would chime in that has the Toyo's, that's what I was thinking about as well. After the run around with the stock tires I'll consider anything but them.
