Hey i need some help here.

I'm in the process of installing my 2inch block lowering kit from Tony at JTSVP.

I have the truck jacked up by two jacks on the rear axle housing. The leaf spring will not come down even as I raise the jacks.

I took off the u bolts, tried hitting the spring from the axle housing and they won't budge.
:dontknow:

get some wd , or pjm? I think it is like at lowes, a rust breaker, spray it between the leaf and the mount, your leaf is rusted inside the mount part, the little pin that centers the axle.
or take a large pry bar, or device:D wedge it between the leafe and the mount and pop wedge it in with a hammer, to loosen it up, it will eventually come loose.

but be very carefule while its on the stands buddy;)

Thanks, I had to hammer it a little harder and the springs slid right out.

I had forgot that the spring were set inplace for around 6-7 years.:D

The Truck looks perfect now, doesn't look too low and long, and doesn't look so tall and bulky like it did.

Do I have to wait to step on it? If so How long, should I go without doing any WOT runs? Should I let it set for the next 50 miles?

just drive her like normal:rock: :burnout:  :burnout:

BUT DO RECHECK THE U-BOLTS after a few miles:rock:

Thanks.
I would take some pics, but haven't seen the Camera in over 6 months. Haha
