Help with Uploads/Pics

Well, I thought I was computer literate, but apparently not. Can anyone give me a quick cookbook list of how to upload pics? I did the attachment thing and did the upload but the pic is off somewhere in cyberspace - where do the attachment files end up? I'm sure this is boring newby sh1t but i could use a little tutorial. Thanks in advance.

after you have uploaded them...click on the paperclip button again and a little box should pop up and you attachment should be there....just click it

Go to photobucket.com, upload pics, copy link and paste into anything Post, PM's whatever and it works sweet .....
