HELP...

Ok, I put 4 gallons of 110 leaded gas in the truck for the dyno on Sunday. I pull away from the pump and the check engine light goes on... I get it home and check the error "injector curcuit malfuction cylinder 6"

any Ideas. Could it plug the injector that fast? Can I run it? or whatever....

Leaded gas...not good. I myself would drain the tank. I'll let others with more experience and knowledge chime in. I almost put leaded in at the race track last year.

I don't have cats, I alot of people run leaded for the strip or dyno. i had friends tell me you should have no problems. There was even a thread about this and it was a 50/50 to use or not use.....

i run leaded gas all the time. it's actually not bad for your engine at all. it seals your valves better! I have a feeling your check engine light has nothing to do with leaded gas.

It may just be funny that it came on at that time. So what could the code mean??

maybe the computer is senseing the lead in the mech. sims..?:dontknow:

Can I Kindly ask why did you put 110 leaded when you know we have cats and leaded is for Cars without cats. You could have put 100 unleaded thats waht i always do.

he said he has no cats. probably has the delete pipes with sims.

Paul, just reboot the computer (disconnect the negative lead to the battery) for 10 minutes or so...then reconnect, see if the code is gone.

I run lots of leaded gas.....the only thing it can mess up is the O2 sensors....gives the pipe tips that nice frosty look....
