ok so i'v got the motor unbolted the tranny unbolted from the motor but i cannot slide the imput shaft out of the motor to putt the motor and tranny apart....????? any tips to get this thing out of the truck.... i mean i'v been fighting for the past night and the hole day... and ikt's starting to tick me off... i don't want to take a pry bar cause it's aluminum????...ideas,pointers...anything?

if the trans housing is stuck to the block i sugest some rust penetrent between the two let sit for a bit and a rubber mallet (not mullet). gl

I love rubber mullet.

take a 4"x4" x3' piece of wood and hit the back of the trans near the end on the beefier collar by the u joint...not too hard!

make sure you didnt miss alil bolt there are some ones that are difficult to get to

make sure you have the 2 top bolts out, they are hard to see from the bottom and the top

got it guys thatnks for all the help... i just needed another set of hands lol.. made sure everything was level and pull and it al most knocked me in the head lol dang thing flew out lol
