the honeycomb grill I bought doesn't have the holes for the push pins to put the black air shroud thing back on? Do I just drill two little holes in each side?

I just did mine and noticed the same thing. I did not drill the holes and just reinstalled without the holders in place. It seemed strong enough to me without them. If it becomes a problem then I can always fix it later.

Some would tell you to leave the shroud off anyway. :dontknow:

I still have mine on, but some have taken them off to help airflow...
