I've seen several posts lately on wire looms and high temp wire sets. Here's what I did that may be helpful. I used two sets of looms as pictured because they are for V8's. They were modified by drilling extra mounting holes for fastening the loom halves together to keep them even along the length of the valve cover. I also drilled out the cap screw mounting holes and pressed in a metal spacer ( a must) to allow the new mounting bolt to be torqued to propely seal the valve cover. You can't torque against the plastic. I used 12 point cap screws with a washer to hold the plastic in place. This allows the torque against the spacer and not the plastic. The yellow heat shrink was used to reduce hole diameter for the wires so the wires would not 'walk' and stay as routed. I will try and find the left over looms so I can post better detail pics of the mods. I also added hi temp socks at the boots because I installed headers. So far I've had no problems or leaks. It just takes time and patience to install and route properly. By the way the yellow valve covers were Justins work at JMB. They turned out fantastic especially with the black on yellow 'Viper' I asked for. Hope this is helpful, Murray.
