i've got a high idle issue some times it idles normal other times it sticks around 1200 RPMS i've already replaced the TPS and it still does it what other sensor can it be?

It may sound funny but check your clutch fluid. Mine was hanging also til I checked it was nasty.

i cleaned it last time it was off but that was about a month ago but i'll try it again

You may need to clean the throttle body throat and butterfly....residue can make the butterfly stick open slightly.
Very common issue. Probably has something to do with all those night time Mexico trips.;) :D

Put a can of Seafoam in the tank next time you fill up. Kragen or PepBoys carry it.

Wade. Its possible you have a vacuum leak. Listen closely under the hood and see if you can hear any sucking sounds. Also, get some starting fluid and spray all the vacuum lines from one end to the other and see if you get any rpm surge. You may need to get the TPS reset by someone with a DRB III or the dealer.

the damn thing is so loud i cant hear shit hahahaha i'll lok into it though

your throttle body blade is dragging ,,holding it open just a tad ,,my xmetal did same thing you have to pull blade off and sand that part that is dragging down ,,mine would not drag off the truck but just as it would tighen up it would stick hold at 1200 to 1300 then drop ,,or i could just goose it a tad and it would go to normal ,,:D

thats what it's freaking doing! thanks man!

with it bolted up get in there and move it open and closed by hand ,,get your ear as close as you can ,,i see in another thread your bolts keep coming loose i would bet the side that is loose is the side dragging ,,,,,

you have to be vary conservitive when grinding the blade ,,take some off then try it ,,;)

Bro, Can you post a picture of it? I'm just curious to see the split.
