Do you suffer from harsh bottoming on your hinder? Perhaps you should try carrying less of a load? OR.....you could try and soften up your cushion.
When I put in my 1/2 X-metal drop, I trimmed off the recommend amount of bump stop material. However, I feel that the durometer of the material used in our bumpstops is too high and our bumpstops do not provide much cushioning action. So, I shaped my factory bumpstops like some aftermarket ones and now the bump stop has a more progressive action.:rock:
