Martinez, Ga. is where I grew up! I found this article by happenstance....

A Martinez, Ga., woman says her home has been swarmed by as
many as 10 million bees. Theresa Manning said she phoned a
bee removal expert after she saw the insects flying into her
attic and heard scratching coming from behind her walls.
Bee wrangler Jason Rehr said he expected to find multiple
hives in the attic, but instead found the bees had turned the
structure into a giant hive with honeycombs on the ceiling
and walls.
Rehr gave his expert opinion of the phenomenon, "This is the
mamma-jamma here. This is the biggest one I've ever seen."
He said he plans to move the bees several miles away from the
house to hives that have been prepared.
The husband is away in Iraq (Army) and the removal and repair is at $8000 and climbing! A friend has set up a relief fund, if anyone is interested in helping!
This bee situation has turned out to be a serious problem for the Mannings. It is STILL not resolved and has caused a real hardship for Theresa, who is dealing with all this herself while Jack is deployed in Iraq. Expenses for the bee removal and repairs are currently at $8,000 and are rising. USAA Insurance, which has her homeowneers insurance policy, tells her they do not cover damage caused by insects.
We are grateful to them both for the sacrifices they have made while her husband serves our Nation so that the rest of us here at home can enjoy the freedoms of this great country.
First Bank of Georgia has set up an account for them so that if anyone would like to help them out, there is a place to send a donation.
