Hood Scoop Insert Clips - Help please

Hey Guys,

How do you get those little bastards off without screwing up the plastic post?
Was gonna just pry em and cut em but that seems well, crude.

Any tips from anyone???

I broke the tip off of one......cheap piece of shit. What amazes me is that all the new cars, with a few exceptions are staple together plastic and us idiots, well, I'll just direct that at myself, are paying 50K for them. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

I didn't pay that for my truck but that's what they were new. What's wrong with this picture??

I'm just a frustrated, cynical bastard after getting those little clips off. Jim was right....what a major PITA.
