The second one is the one on Supercar's truck. The third one is the one that Stinker and Roz are working on, and as far as I know there are no pictures of that hood at this time.

Good luck !!:dontknow: :dontknow:

Yep, he's still willing to make these:rock: ... 800US -10% off when more than one is ordered at once....:marchmellow:
To recap for the others:
Replica fiberglass SRT hood c/w Viper '03-'06 style vents on both sides. Hood scoope NOT larger nor raised (stock inlet thus your grill still will match)

Gonna decide after I see Tony's (stinker) pic's and price.

Floor you might want to check on having a Hood custom made over in your country.
I spent some time out of curiosity looking up shipping to Antwerp Belgium and you don't want to know how much.

Best price was more than a hood would cost.

.

What are the gross weight and dimensions of yours?
I've shipped plenty of stuff by sea in a container, I doubt it will cost that much...;)

Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the hood at this time. It's still in production.

The scoop will look like what's in my sig with the vents you see on Dennis' hood.

That's Stinker's area my friend. I'm responsible for the design aspect of this venture. :) I believe it's been posted in his thread in his vendor section. May want to shoot him a PM. ;)

Thank Jan! (Low n Loud - nice slogan! :p)

I just talked to MV and they have a lot better deal on shipping. Other Europeans have inquired that I was not aware of, but the Hoods are about 35lbs and I would think at least another 40-50lbs for a sturdy shipping crate.

If you are in a club, it might make better sense to see if you can order more than one while they are being sold at basically cost and have them shipped in the same container. If you like, E-mail me at [email protected] and I will put you in direct contact with the Owner.

Also FYI below is my involvement with this Hood project.

History of the VTCOA Hood,

Back in early October another member 6PacAttack posted Pics of his truck that had heat extractors incorporated into it and alot of members including myself thought it looked good and wanted one but the company said they were not going to make any more.
Someone else then mentioned having another co; make the hoods but mentioned how expensive it is and the thread was starting to die off.

I live near what used to be a first class fiberglass MFG and was given a quote for about $2,700.00+materials to put the hoods in production.

I decided that I would go ahead and pay to have the hoods put in production
as a gift to the VTCOA members and so stated.

I am retired and in poor health so I have no interest in operating a business.
I contacted Stinker and he was to have the business and my involvement was to end after the hoods went into production. My only compensation was
to be $20.00 a hood to cover my out of pocket expense.(which I thought was going to be about 2-3,000.00 at most)

I had observed an altered photo made by Roz of the scoop made larger and liked it, along with other members.

Things were fine until about Monday Oct 20, when the MFG advised that he was selling the business and could not do the hood;(found out later that his son was killed)

I then scrambled to find another competent MFG because Stinker had collected money from several members.

Two days later I was put in contact by Tim of MV with a OEM MFG that guaranteed they could deliver the hoods to the design and quality I wanted but it was going to
cost me to pay them to assign extra engineers to comlete the project by the
third week of Nov. I paid the money to save us embarrassment.

When I got back I received an PM from Stinker that he and Roz were going to make a hood. By this time I was out of pocket almost $5,000.00.

It was my idea to call it the VTCOA Hood and limit sales in the first place so it would distingish members but that just doesn't make sense at this point.

Bottom line, I delivered what I said I would on time, and at a price('to members')far less than originally thought.

At this time I want to say thank you to the members that have followed along this ordeal and contacted me, and recognize the money and effort
I put into this project, but I have to say, LOL if I had had a clue what this was going to involve, I would have stayed in bed that day!
At least I can claim title to having the most expensive hood, if not the fastest truck, yet.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! John T. Hargraves
