I know that I cannot be the only one that has to deal with the HORRIBLE Brake Dust!! I understand that I have only had my truck for a little over a week, but damn! I guess what I am asking is there some brake pad out there that I can put on that wont release all of this dang brake dust. I did a search on this forum for brake pads, but none of the posts were about the dust... only about performance. Any ideas??

A lot of people like EBC green.

I happen ti like the posi quiet that Dave Z offers. I also have them on my 300SRT and they work like a champ. Very little dust

the pads that are performance also cut down on dust, like ebc, morse, performance friction.all will do the job.

I believe the EBC pads help control the dust as do the Morse ceramics, and the Performance Friction pads...Talk to Boomer..He can set you up..

THanks guys... I have to say, that was probably the fastest replys that I have ever seen towards any topics!

Sundays a busy night here at the funny farm...

EBC's took care of the dust as well as the noise in mine........... Fronts were no big deal, but you need a big allen for the back calipers. If you need to know the size PM me. Also if you DIY boomers had a little thread on scuffing the rotors a specific way....it worked for me R62!

I've got EBC greens in the garage...got them from Boomer last week. Now I just need to put them on.

I see you have an 04 model. Performance Friction pads from Autozone is your best choice. They DO NOT dust.

EBCs will still dust your wheels up. I tried the EBCs and took them back off right away. Go to Autozone and get part #s 0965-20 and 0702-20. Save yourself some heartache and get the right ones first. Under $50 a pair.;)

Is there a coating or polish that you can put on the wheels, i don't realy want to switch pads yet...

Same here. I only have 1800 mi on the truck and would like to get my money's worth out of this set. I have just resigned myself to do alot of cleaning. BTW will there be a car wash close to the Amerihost in Ohio for the Nat's ? Need to clean my wheels.:D

Someone said theres a carwash right next door..or very close by..

EBC is the great to reduce the dust. I am planning to get the green EBC and hoping it would reduce the dust problem.

EBCs will not fix your dust problem and they cost more than Performance Friction. ;)

Take it from me, I have used them both. I now have Performance Frictions on front and back and my wheels do not dust. :)

I have heard about the performance friction and they can be buy from autozone? How much does it cost? Just wondering.

Do you happen to have part #'s for 06 model? I got the EBC green #'s but if these work better for cheaper I can't say no :)
