All too true, i think even on on the old Gen II and Gen I engines that have
the forged internals you could probly only push 8psi or so... anything over
10 on stock your askin for trouble fo sho :dontknow::rock:

Gen 2's 96-99 can run 14psi fine....

As for yours, If you want 1000rwhp out of a QC, you looking for a lot. A RC would be cheaper and more reliable when it comes to that much power. you can get away with 8/9psi on the stock Gen3, but you better have a great tune!

I would do build the motor...add the twin turbos, swap out the transmission, change the rear, and put some good tires on it and have fun!

Ok so 1000hp , S/C& Nos. , do up the motor , the tranny & rear end with a Stinker . That should take me to 60k there abouts then ? O btw where to i find a link for the reear end pls. :) Also i am going to keep asking question you know that right :))) I was told at the track there is NO WAY my SRT-10 is going to break 11 sec... so i got SOMETHING to prove !!! for me and all of us also :) .

Your trying to get into 10's at our Altitude????? OMG have fun. Your gonna need that 1200RWHP. On a good day i might break 12's. Also you can basically double everything on price for us Canucks, i know i was $15,000 into my truck for the S/C & extras. So a Twin Turbo setup you could be into it for every penny of that $60,000

A side note: I've done the Roe S/C to mine and it's already becoming too much for the street, unless your making this into a track queen i wouldn't see the use for that much HP. I drove my 'stock' truck a few times this winter and it was not fun, although you Medicine Hat boys don't get much snow, bastards :).

Don't wanna be a buzzkill but a lot of other ways to go, our QC's are just not "insane fast" machines.
