What happened with larson?
struggled to get to the third track, showed up with a half hour left. Got the truck across the line into the staging lanes with seconds to spare. Gets staged, goes to launch and truck shuts off. ran a 46.xx @ 26mph. He has no shot at winning but he will put on a show the next couple days. Looks like it is Lutz's unlimited class to lose at this point.
I also heard that Schroeder (the blue nitrous vette) had to replace a piston last night.
For those of you that didn't get to watch on Saturday or haven't heard. Larry Larson ran a 6.16 @ 219mph and he dumped the chutes before the line. The truck has 5 second potential.
Shortly before that run he went 4.00 @ 188 mph in the 1/8 mile and dumped the chutes way early and still ran a 6.70
