Dealer installed Xmetal 1/2 lowering kit today....I was just in the garage measuring and WTF....the right side is 1" lower than the left??.......also noticed the body hangs about 3/4" further out from the right side.....anybody know a simple solution here?

I will take to my dealer first thing in the morning...if he cant resolve I will try to contact Gary or Marty...dang...:dontknow:

Keep in mind, they measure from the frame to the ground, not the body pieces

First time I have done a lowering mod.....an inch diff from side to side would be normal?.......I measured my wife's durango for comparison...less than 1/4 in from side to side...measurement is done front the top center of the wheel well.....

Thanks....that makes me feel better....just got excited since I was leaving town friday...........one good thing...the service mgr from my dealer is going with me..:)

the rear tire sticking out further on one side vs. the other is normal....you just never noticed it before....

That is probably correct....just seems when you find one problem you start seeing everything as a problem.....I will take by the dealer tomorrow just to look it over..also give Gary a call....at this point I assume it is ok based on what has been said so far....

BTW....sure made a difference in ride quality....much smoother than stock..did not get a chance to check out handling..

This issue has been raised before.... Others have simply been looking (perhaps too closely) at the uniformity of the ride, distances between this and that.... They've come to the conclusion that some of these disparities are normal from the factory....

Yes, it is fkd up, but it's not a Buggatti Veyron..........

Mike's right......

I'll go ya one better: A service manager explained (to me) that customers were also complaining about some of the Chrysler 300 series bodies that were actually mounted out of line (front to back tires didn't line up).. They untimately had to tell the customer, "That's how they make them... Not to worry......It's normal".....

FMITBH.............

Seems all is well....it occured to me last night that maybe having the wheel turned was affecting the height...this morning I straighten the front wheels and remeasured...about a 1/4" diff from side to side....can't expect better I believe..:)

They probably didn't seat the rear leafs properly.... Have the loosen up the shackles, get in the bed of the truck and jump up and down a few times (no bullshit). This will seat the leaf-springs. :)

Thanks Jake...you probably missed my post today..I had the wheels turned last night..straightened this monring and only had a 1/4" diff...but I may still do your "seat procedure"....:)

Just saw it.

Do you still have a little "rake" (the back end sets up a little more than the front)? If you do, sometimes that "seat procedure" will help level things out a little more. :)

I have had a leveling issue on my stock rig. Seems like Dodge will address it on a frame machine for me. I have lowering blocks but not touching them until I am level or close to it. I am 1" lower on the drivers side with even little gas in the tank.

About a 1/2" diff between front and back..back being higher...barely noticable....here are some pictures...
