We have a "timeslips" section which requires a slip to prove its real...how about a "dyno results" section that requires the dyno graph to prove its real. We could use "rear wheel" numbers for both horsepower and torque and have a place to mention the type of dyno that was used.

I think it would be nice to see a listing of everyones graphs that has done one and maybe add where the sessions were done...similar to where the 1/4 times were performed.

Whatcha think?

Not a bad idea. It would be nice to have a general idea what mod does what and where folks should be HP wise. Would help as sort a diagnostic thing too. Gets my vote.

IMO, dyno numbers are useless.

I would somewhat agree, just thought it would be of interest to some of the forum members. For those planning any type of mod it would at least give some idea of performance increase. No biggy, just an idea that I thought I'd throw out.

I did notice horsepower is listed in the timeslip section so maybe people can go there for the info.

I think it would be awesome!!
Super idea!

You are right that would give alot of guys an idea of say the paxton or Roe sc'r and the hp you might get.

Or say a set of headers and exhaust or cat delete!!

Man dave thats a killer idea, it'll give alot of the guys that never really post a good idea of whats good and whats not!!

DOH! I missed the graph part. The timeslip section allows you to post your hp, not the graph.

I see your point Dave....but what we really need is a Mod results section as vetted out by some reasonable standard...

I.E. an appropriate result for each mod and more importantly for a combination of mods.

CAI
Catback
Midpipes
Headers
Flash
Blower Flash
Cam
Ported Heads
Paxton
TMTS
Water/Meth Tune
T.B.

When I take the truck to Saint Louis in early April to get it retuned with the VEC3 I'll have a seperate tune and dyno graph with the only additon water/meth injection (if I decide to go that route). That way, people can see for the Paxton trucks what kind of power/torque improvements could be had.

On a similar topic but different how bout a section that is most frequently asked questions. That may help the newer members as far as mods, tuners, etc.

I agree with this. THere seems to be ALOT of answering the same old questions repeatedly lately.

If your idea doesn't fly maybe the admins can institute a mandatory training session for all newbs, in which they learn all the basic mods AND how to use the search feature, lol.
