i was snooping under the truck changing a fog light and found this. Is it just a cover or it is something important?

Something blew out of there? Was the starter ever changed? Maybe someone dropped it prior to install? Throw some JB weld over it to keep debris out.

Lol. That's what I was thinking dropped or maybe a rock hit it, JB Weld should seal it up nicely and very easy to do.

I don't think it was ever changed. It's a new wound as it wasn't there when I put the headers on last year. I do have some jb weld. I will throw someone there. Should I pull it apart first or just stick some on there?
