Just past the cross drilled brake lines.
It's easy to spot.

I have used differant metal polish on the ceramic coatings and never seemed to hurt them ,Simichrome is what I usse the most of . No matter what they all seem to dull out over the years ,but no matter what they looked like it seemed to stop them from rusting and unbelievable insulation factor conciedering the thickness of the coating .

i havent seen anyting that would help it best thing is not to get anything on them while they are hot ie. driving it in the rain through mud and shit like that clean grease oil off of them before you run the motor

Sorry, I don't have time to google this, but you might try some of the English Car Forums.

Reason I say this is I sometimes make it down to Portland for the All British Field Meet, and the majority of the Jag's have ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. They always looked sharp, so they were using something to keep them looking nice.

Sorry I could not be of more help.

really fine steel wool will do it but after time the steel wool leaves swirl marks. when i was 12-16 i detailed big rigs and the owner had me polish the exhaust from the motor back. the front pipe was ceramic on the trucks and the steel wool cleaned them right up. make sure you dont get any finger prints on them if you do clean them with brakeclean real well or they will stay there forever

I will watch this thread as I have never found anything beneficial.

Ok....my figures won't be the same for awhile...but the pipes look great......great....

Aluminum polish.....small circles....teri-cloth....presto....

you need to go over them a couple of times...you can feel the pipes get smooth after the second pass....

great. whatever works for you. just a warning thou make sure you remove all the excess polish or it turns white and stains it. thanks for the info.
