just wondering what the max top end mph would be on a stock 04 reg cab srt10? i had it to about 150mph last night on an isolated road. it was still pulling so i'm sure it can go more lol

Nice....some get more some get less...I've only had her up to 135mph on a private land, and backed off even though there was a lot more in her!:rock:

The record was set with the truck in 5th gear. It's not limited by gearing.

If I remember correctly, the stock truck will not pull 6th for the top speed run.

The record was set in perfect conditions by a race car driver in an 04 RC at 154 MPH. Anyone that states that they will do more is blowing smoke in my opinion. There are plenty on this site who claim 160+, I highly doubt it.

The cruise control will set at 160 in my CTS V...but it is electronically limited to 185...so I am told.

Yes, but even modified you can only push the truck so far due to aerodynamics.

154 mph was the record and was also an average speed of 2 directions
absolute top speed should be near 159
