Does anyone know?
BOOMER said:np. we can just do so much more with the turbo400, and the support for it is overwhelming in terms of parts, support, racing setups, and history behind it.

np, i will prob post this soon, i have a feeling i will end up putting one in Womsterrs truck. the cool thing about the turbo 400 is there is NO computer to run it!!!! purley mechanical, which makes it cheaper and mucho easier to mod, and build her tough. i am SO glad i kept the trany out of one of my old shop trucks!areuv said:Boomer please keep us updated on the drop-in kit, I for one am starting to get tranny problems, and would much rather go with a turbo 400, when you get the kits done maybe work up a package for a trans & mount kit, say you outsource a good builder you know, who could build a srt10 specific tranny, with all the right gear ratios, line pressures, and then have things like mounts, yokes, and flexplates available for us, if you need a guniea pig for a prototype street application, I would be willing to install your conversion kit in my truck whenever you have a complete kit:idea:

the turbo400 with a gear vendor unit will get WAYWAY better gas mileage than the stock tranny, and be a more durable user friendly unit as well!
