how in the hell do you launch this thing?

how do you guys launch without hulling the tires off the rims?

i tried easin out and nailin it while movin...nope smoked em

i tried leavin in 2nd...nope smoked em

tried shifting short 1st to 2nd...nope smoked em

tried a rollin kick from bout 20mph...nope smoked em.

so even tho all this raw hellish power is there and as much as i love a smoke show how do you get her to just get gone?

Fun ain't it!!!:rock: :rock: :rock: I particularly like the 20mph 2nd gear rolling burnouts, just be careful they will jump sideways every now and then.

Not sure but sounds like your dumpin the clutch to hard at to high of an rpm

bald tires??? i can smoke em if i want the same way you do . but can also keep em glued if i want just to get movin.. so i guess practice makes perfect.. and a tire with some tread

The 04's have 4.10 gears and are more prone to wheelspin.

Worn tires wont help....DRs are soft rubber...feels like a pencil eraser.....and Jack I would thing the bigger gears...4.56 & 4.88...will be more prone to spin?..

The 4.10's once they break loose are almost like our trucks in second gear, you get a lot higher wheel speed. That makes it harder to control wheelspin.

well when we drag bikes lower gears meant the tire actually spin slower in Xgear at same rpm as before so it was less likely to blow em out...
