I'm still trying to figure out the whole shorter gears makes better traction comments. When we went from 2.73 to 3.73 in the Trans Am traction definitely became more of an issue. You launch much harder making it much worse for traction. And many here have made comments about putting 4.88 in and to be ready for the smoke show.

Cal-tracs and adjustible shocks make a good improvement adjusting them properly.

I think Jack is saying that once the wheels are spinning the 4.10 gears will cause the wheels to spin faster than the 4.56/4.88s would at the same RPM. The larger gears will make it easier to start spinning....

I know the stockers, scorp zero after they lose some tread are hard to hook, ok street tires, getting the clutch weird takes a little while, but once ya do look out:rock:
