This was from the LOTR exhibition in Boston. This is a full size replica of the boat Boromir was sent down the river in after his death. It looked so lifelike I was amazed. During filming of the movie, Sean Bean (Boromir) actually fell asleep in the boat between takes and people thought it was the replica and tried to move the boat. He jumped up and freaked out the crew.

Very nice collection bro, i have several swords n such myself, i even keep a 5' Claymore by my bed:D :ridinghorse: :fight:

Well with you, I'd really be bringing a knife to a gunfight... ;)

Possibly. But, I love knives and swords too! :) I have a Paul Chen Practical Katana and a Cold Steel Warrior Series Katana. I've had some of United Cutlery's stuff, and it looks great! I do believe your collection of LOTR Swords are the UCC collection, correct? These swords in the vid from Weta are all hand made and very very nice collectibles! I hope you can get your hands on one (I think they are only making 10 of each, right?). I've always been fascinated with the way true Japanese fighting swords are created, and hope to own a "real" hand made Katana one day... I'm really into the practical, working stuff than something meant to hang on a wall.

Yes, mine are from United Cutlery. The swords Weta are making will be a very limited supply. Not sure if its 10 but it might be.. Did you see that somewhere? :dontknow: They made some limited edition items that I have including Anduril. Only 1500 made along with the Shards of Narsil. They also have a museum collection Glamdring and Sting that come in wooden boxes. Very hard to find these days.

Now the Highlander katana is the sword I have been interested in for a long time. Not the repo's but the actual licensed one limited to about 100. That and the Kurgen sword that comes apart would be a nice added feature to my collection.
