How much do you difference do you think long tube headers , volant intake , and the computer upgrade for my rc would make? Is there any other mods that I can do without supercharge and nitrous. I want to do as much as i can without having to change the enternals of the engine.

LT's and PCM should add about 30rwhp and bring up your hp/tq curves at lower RPM's to much better levels.

Would bet that you wouldnt see much difference if you did the above and then added the Volant afterwards. I would spend that $ on a set of mids and catback. Mids, catback and a drop in filter should give you another 30rwhp.

Next, look at replacing your shifter, Master/Slave unit, Clutch and Flywheel ....As the added hp/ft lbs will make your shifts more difficult and start to wreak havoc on the stock clutch.

Traction is always good, so a set of Caltacs and DR's would be a good buy ;)

Not much else to do expect perhaps a throttle body without improving internals or power adders.

the easiest way to make numbers at the track = 100shot...:D

I agree with mmmmmtorque and nowwhat!! the cal tracs and shifter are two of my favorite mods along w/ the catless mids!!

But nowwhat is right nitrous is the best bang for the buck......I added 150 hp for only $540. The LT headers and mids cost me $1200 and they maybe gave me 30hp.

Dyno tuning would give you more out of those headers and mids ;)

I would rather do it the hard 'reliable" way :D

Now, I may add NoS some time later on but only as an 25-50shot "intercooler" on those hot nights here in NC

If you have an RC go with long tubes, castless or hi flo mids, and a cat back exhaust, and some sort of CAI that makes you happy and it will be a different truck.

Play with that an then go to other things, that alone will be around $2500 or better.
