How much to install clutch ?

Just wondering how much it should cost to install my Centerforce clutch,flywheel,master and slave cylinders.Dealer wants $400 for 5.8 hrs.Does that sound right ?:dontknow:

dude for all? Killer price! Just make sure to pick up a bottle of motul 600 brake fluid to use in the clutch master cylinder, it holds up much much better to the heat!

Not bad price. 69.00 hr labor rate.

Thats exactly what I paid out here on Maui from my dealer. He is probably just going by what the book says. Same price whether it was the stocker or the ungraded unit.

He used the labor rate chart and said it takes 5.8 hrs.I have several guys who could probably do it,but with the dealer I have the work gauranteed.My clutch started making a lot of noise today,so I guess everything has worked out ok.

thats right on par. i had an "experience" where i had to pull a tranny 4 times in one day. i can r&r the 6 speed in 30 minutes now!
but for an everyday job, thats the right time to quote you.

That makes me feel better about it.The only down side is that the Viper tech can't do it.He will be out for at least another month from hip surgery.But,it shouldn't be too hard for a good mechanic.
