how quick should a stock 300 with a hemi be? i kinda raced him, not really thou. he had a head start and i stayed within 1 car lenght of him. issue was i had that overhead sign up, so as i went faster it pushed harder. i backed off at 120. but he had no problem keeping me behind him. if i didn't have the sign, it would have been on, however... it did seem quickish...

any thoughts?

I've raced a 300 and a Charger with the 5.7l Hemi and I pulled away from both of them. Have not raced a SRT yet though. Might be a different story.

He probably wasn't stock. I test drove a 300 SRT8 not too long ago, and it felt SLOW:slug:

I raced a 300 srt-8.... he ran consistant 8.8's He wasnt stock, but im not about to try and remember what was done to it other than a tune.
A 5.7 i do not see how any srt-10 could lose.

i am surprised the lights didn't fly off again. i even race with my honda.

what was that about street racing, i must have add i kinda drifted off after the whole "is" part.

never in my life has my escort car gotten more attn then the oversize load. now people are allways waving and asking me to do burn outs. they allways start to look at the loads, until they hear my truck idle.....

Stock srt8 300s down here run in the mid 13s...now if they are moded i sometimes see them in the mid to high 12s..never actualy been beat by one though

My buddy has a 300 C with a hemi. It was chipped and it has an exhaust and it is pretty damn fast. I drove it but we never raced. Seat of the pants it felt very fast. An SRT 8 must be a kick.
