How to Clean Wheels

Hey what is everyone using to clean their wheels? Normally I just use a rag but I have some nasty spots to remove. I've heard steel wool will work but not sure if itll scuff the factory 22s....

I would not use steel wool. One it can scratch, two it can leave steel pieces on the wheel which will rust. Try a soft cloth and some Softscrub or non abrasive cleaner. Never Dull works good too.

Nope, not yet. Just the wheel cleaner and now Rejex.
Might look into the leather stuff and the Natural look interior spray.

Have you ever tried Meguiars NXT? I'm trying to get a comparison between that and Rejex.

Sorry, meant that I have seen it in the store. I don't know anyone that has used it.
In the past I have used Zymol and Pinnacle products. The downside is that they are waxes. Waxes don't last long when your cars sits out in the sun everyday.

yea the NXT is a synthetic polymer wax, which is what I'm thinking Rejex is..not sure though.

I have used NXT exclusively for years, the shine is amazing, really brings out color other waxes didnt, BUT.....it doesnt last at all and doesn't bead water well. If I was going to show off I would use it but from what I have heard Rejex is going to be much better, I am just not out of the NXT yet

So how long does a coat of rejeX last. I ask because I have a royally screwed lower back and cant bend over all that well. After a day of washing and waxing I pretty much cant move for 2 or 3 days.

Get yourself one of these.... use it to apply AND remove the product.

Yea I hear ya on the NXT not lasting but the shine is killer, for a short time. I've talked to several people who say it lasts but it doesnt seem to last very long. Maybe it has something to do with how hot black paint can get in the sun. I'm thinking I may try out Rejex cause I'm waxing my truck 2x per month and sprinkler water stains easily eat through the NXT. Getting them out is less than fun

The directions say to reapply every 4 to 6 months. But if washing and waxing the truck messed me up like you say, I'd be paying someone to do it.

I can tell ya this I have used the nxt before and to me, a person opinion the rejex even tho it wasnt devoloped for shine, outshines nxt, by the way I hate removing the nxt also , but I have only washed mine once since applying the rejex and dam thing still is clean, and still beads like crazy, and I have put about 7000 miles on it since I put it on
