When posting pictures.

Thumbnails are very handy little images to use in many situations. They are just smaller versions of your full-sized pictures, that when clicked on, will open the full-sized image in a new window.

To create thumbnails from your album is very easy.

This is really useful if you are posting a bunch of pics, as it makes the page faster to load, and it is easier on any dial-up viewers that may view your page. They can then open one full-sized image at a time, and not overload their connections. It will also use up less of your bandwidth.

They are great for eBay when you want to display many pictures of your items at a glance, and provide close-ups when needed.

First select the images that you want to create clickable thumbnails for.

You can do this for a few pictures by checking the little boxes under them, or select all within a sub-album by using the 'select all' feature near the bottom of the page. Personally I would elect to view all and make it easier if you have multiple pages to chose from.

Then click the 'Generate HTML and IMG code' button.

A new page will open. You then need to just copy the correct code (depending on where you will be posting) and then paste it on your web page, blog page, forum post, or eBay auction.

Or you can just upload it to the VTCOA 'manage attatchments' and it auto thumbnail pics for you :)
