Motorcycle dealership that is.....

Took the KTM in for a starter motor fix and while it was there they went over the bike....400 miles.....

Instead of the one day to fix as promised it was 6....no biggie....

Got her home....driving down the canyon....nice S curve....apply front a rear brake evenly to bring the speed down....uuhhh ohhhh......bad noise.....brake pedal goes all the way down....too much front brake now.....rear tire lifts.........urine goes down left pantleg....

100 feet back up the road I find my rear brake pads....When they went over the bike they took the rear brake off and forgot to put the pins in that hold the pads in place....

Called the manager with my tale this morning....and I am getting great service today....Imagine that.....:dontknow:

Motorcycle mechanics.......................... sheeesh.........

I'm just glad yer OK..................

I am glad you had the piece of mind to stay under control, and its a testament to your reflexes and intelligence.
demand that they saftey wire the front and rear pins.

WTF I would sue their ass for negligence, who the hell does a half asses job on something so critical?!? Glad to hear you are OK Mike, mad driving skills are evident.

Thats one crazy storie. I would have gone postal on them. Just glad to hear you are ok.

not defending the situation, but KTM's have little r clips that hold the brake pins in place, and they can come out from time to time, when they do-then the pins will work themselves out. crazy shit like this can happen with no explanation, so for the future, just safety wire the rclips open end closed and then safety wire the rclip to the pin
