i had my thermostat powder coated along with valve covers, intake and altenator housing. i had a small leak where the hard radiator pipe (jmb's) meets the thermostat housing. i did not have the thermostat housing clearcoated...and the hot water i guess has stained the powdercoating. what will remove this? anyone have any ideas, not sure if it will polish out.:dontknow: i'm thinking its mineral deposits?

okay i'l try that tommorrow..i tried limeaway (no go) and nxt gen. wax, but that didn"t help either:dontknow: i'm thinking if any one does any powder coating, have it clearcoated too, then you can use a clear coat polish to polish any scratches or imperfections that you acquire.

okay steve,i'll try those (in an inconspicous place first) dont' want to make it worse with something to harsh.

justin could tell ya for sure

Scot,

If it is like hard water stain you can get some special spot remover from boat dealerships that works well on hard water stains.
