Just pulled my SC because I saw an oil leak on the bottom from around the drain line I believe. When I pulled the inlet pipe there was some oil inside and I wasn't sure if this is normal. There does seem to be VERY light oil residue in the outlet pipe.

Bearings feel tight, no real play that I can tell and blower is working fine and not producing any strange noises. How do you tell if it needs to be rebuilt?

on the inlet side, what kind of air filter ya runnin???

K&N filter in the normal paxton location.

No catch can or pcv. All that has been blocked off and I have an open element breather in each valve cover. No way for the oil to come from anywhere but the blower. I read that a little oil there is ok. Is that true?

i'll say its the extra oil off the air filter. no more than there is.

is the oil that is there sticky to the touch????

if the oil was on the outlet of the compressor housin, then i would suspect a seal prob

Here are the breathers and where air filter is.
