Took my 2 year old to a 3 year old's birthday party. And then responded to minor vehicle accident with no injuries.

is it sunday?????

tearing down the engine for powdercoating:rock: registered for my first car-truck show next month... FINALLY!

Well, I walked down the driveway and got the Sunday newspaper. Then I walked back inside, took off my shoes, and,,,, that's about it! It was good. I needed a day off.

Alarm is set for 3:30am Monday morning. But at least I can look forward to having Friday OFF!

tried to put in my 170* t-stat (that was easy)......... having to pull the radiator because the drain plug fell out & the holder was inside -- that took some time........:(

Just finished our first NASA Rocky Mountain road race event of the year (this time its wheel to wheel for points) with my fellow American Iron (AI) and Camaro-Mustang Challenge guys (CMC). I got my Provisional Race License with NASA as a Rookie...not exactly easy.

Last year I ran the SRT Ram in HPDE 3. In fact, the truck was running lap times about 2-3 seconds faster than my Mustang did today!

Best part of the day (after warm-ups and qualifying) was the Main Event. 35 minutes in what began as spits of rain turning into full blown snow while we're racing. There were 17 cars on the track (Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds). Ever hear 17 V8 powered no exhaust beasts (American Iron allows many more mods) run down the straights from a rolling start? AWESOME!

I will say my 157 rwhp (stock) 2885 pound (with me in it) '86 Mustang was the slowest car on the track and I'm not ashamed to say pulled up the rear for last place...but I finished the 35 minute race and got points, experience, seat time, a bunch of new friends, etc.
