hulks son may be in deep.......

they have too much money for him him to be in trouble,,,,maybe slap on wrist at best,,,,,,,this is america were money can buy you out of anything

I would say the money got him into the accident to begin with. What 16 to 17 year old kid that is not rich as hell is given a super fast car at that age? I blame the parents for indulging this kid way too much. On the other hand, he keeps his older daughter caged and on a damn short leash. If the passenger dies it might just be manslaughter and a long prison sentence no matter how much money his daddy has. Man, I hope I make better parenting decisions when my kids are 16 and up. That seems to be the time parents f it all up or do the right thing when raising their kids.

yeah my wife's brother still wants to drive my srt-10 as soon as he gets his license told him once he is 40 i might consider it lol

And my Brother's 16yr old daughter wants to drive my Viper when she gets her license next year...

Good Luck w/ that. Maybe my Focus.:dontknow:

Cut the KID some slack...face it you guys hate rich kids...any of you without some "childhood" problems?

I don't hate rich kids. My main point is that it is plain stupid to put a 16 year old kid in a really fast car and then expect the kid to be safe. Do I wish I had a car like that when I was 16? Hell yeah. Could I have ended up dead or charged with manslaughter if I had a car like that at that age? Hell yeah. I am 37, have raced all types of 2 and 4 wheeled vehicles and I still lose control of the truck now and then. Any kid with a car that fast is at a very high percentage of risk to himself and others. If there is a lawsuit, it will be against Hulk anyway since his son is under 18 so i guess the proper individual will pay for the mistake.

Not for the Enron guys:D

I'm not hating...
but he deserves to be phuckin punished.

Nick drives like an asshole and he's LUCKY nobody is dead right now because of his lack of a brain. Let's see what happens with the passenger.
Yeah his dad is slightly at fault as well for actually giving him cars like this when he obviously loves to speed around, but in the end, Nick chose to drive like that and now he should face the consequences of HIS actions..

I'm not one to talk shit since I do love speed and racing..obviously.. but there's a time and place for everything...
Keep it off the streets man!
I hope this is a BIG wake up call. This isn't the first time he gets into trouble for eating crap in cars...

Yeah, well I'm not innocent...I got kicked out of a parking lot this weekend. I made a perfect donut in a private parking lot with the Viper. I felt bad at first, cuz I was the first Viper on scene at a Viper Club Drive. Luckily they didn't bother the rest of the Viper group. My wife drove the truck so she met up with everyone and told them what I did...they just told me to sneak back in...I did. They thought it was hilarious, and they thought the burnout was made by a motorcycle it was so perfectly round. I am going to have to go back and see it upclose...;)

Well I am 18 with a Viper truck so I guess that means I am irresponsible, and I am a menace to society. That is the same atitude that the cops around here have, never mind the fact that i have a perfict driving record(one ticket when I was 15 and I took dumbo driving, I did spin this truck but didn't hurt anyone or do any damage)

Personaly I think yall are to old to drive fast trucks and yall should just give them to the younger gereration...

young teen + fast car doesn't always = punk

lmfao :D:D ;)

Sharpi reporting in.. I personally think this is a pretty strait cut situation..
the parents and Nick are at fault here.. Nick is at fault for being a dumbass and
his parent's are at fault for giving him permission to drive such a fast car while
being a dumbass.. ;) I'm 17 myself and i have yet to get in a car accident (kock on wood)
most teens do alright by themselves imo but when the peer pressure comes to
play or they feel the need to flex some nuts then they think with there balls instead
of their brain.. i'm sure i'll think of something else to say but i'm drawing blanks atm :D

You making the payments (car and insurance) son?

If so, hats off to you... If not, you are the =

I never said young = anything. I do believe young = less experienced. That being said, there are morons over 50 running all over the place. I am a parent and I believe that kids are the responsibilty of their parents until they are 18. After 18, the child is now an adult and can do whatever he or she chooses to do. It's not even that Hulk let Nick buy himself a fast car, Hulk bought it for him. He handed Nick the weapon. There is a reason most crimes are not punished as adult offenses if the offender is under 18. As a society, we believe that you are a child until you are 18 and your parent is your legal guardian until then. Hulk f'd up and so did Nick but his age is his excuse. He shouldn't be considered stupid until he is 18. LOL

I don't necessarily agree with that..... Some people shouldn't have fast cars at ANY age.... :dontknow: He got his license when he was 15 (permit). He was just stupid, no matter how old he is. He knew the rules, and he knew the car he was driving (he's had it for a long time). The car got away from him and bit him in the ass. :dontknow:

Kinda like owning a gun.... You can have guns when your younger. But, you need to know how to use them. If you shoot someone when your 17, they don't blame your AGE...... you get tried as an adult. Ya know what I mean? :dontknow:

Kids will be kids

Kids will be kids.
Things happen, but it just one of those things he will have to live with years to come if the passenger does pass.

Does it mean he should go to jail? I think not. Maybe some kind of sentence where he has to go to schools and explain to other "why it not proper to race on the streets" so other can maybe learn from this bad situation.

The Military use to do that to Soldiers that got DUI's or auto accidents due to poor judgement.

I don't think he should go to jail. I also don't think he should get any special treatment. The whole thing is a shame really. End of story.

I think his age was part of the problem, which in many times equates to inexperience. I was that age too and I remember many dumb things I did. It was either luck or I was that good or a combination of the two. Either way when I look back, I know some of things I did could have gotten someone killed. Nicks luck ran out. I watch Hulk's show now and then. I also saw Nick on Nopi. He is cocky with his driving and his attitude. Much of that comes from not having to have earned what he has. When you have worked hard for something, you look at it in a much different light. You develop a respect for not only what was accomplished, but how much effort it took to obtain it. Nick never earned his ride. Hopefully, he will have learned his lesson from this. My prayers go to the Hogan's and the young man that was injured. They will have much to deal with in coming months.
