I'm here in south jersey getting ready for sandy. Got the generator filled up, extra gas, food, water, beer, and my chainsaw :chain: Anyone else going to be effected by sandy?

only expecting rain and some wind up here hoping not to bad but sump pump is all setup in basement here is hoping i dont need it lol last year was enough

It passed us down here today. Just rain and a nice kite flying breeze for us. Good luck. I know ya'll up north aren't use to these so much. Just be glad it isn't july and 100 degress with 98% humidity ;)

I am in Virginia Beach right now. The draw bridge in Great Bridge is closed and the steel bridge on Dominion blvd is also closed. Just a little breezy and a little rain. News is scaring everyone to go buy up all the bread, milk, and gasoline...this is why people ignore hurricane warnings and stay home. Scare tactics to boost the retail economy.

We are supposed to get hit in PA, hopefully not too bad.

It's been raining here for 16 hours now. starting to get very windy out.

Hope everyone on here who is near this is safe when it's said & done.

This just happen across the street from a friends house in Bronx ny

Powers out now, 5 poles down in my area, 2 blocks away no problems all power ok...WTF

All good in Virginia Beach. Minor flooding earlier. Power is on and it looks like it is starting to subside.
