I just got a Hurst T-shifter with the red button. It came with very basic wiring instructions which say hook to the old wires. Thats it. what i need to know is, is this a momentary switch or is it an on/off switch? Any help would be great. TIA

should be push buton on, release off

really you shoulda ask the guy u stole it from:p

ok...had to be sure so i hooked up a 12v light to the switch...the switch on the hurst handle is a momentary...so unless i want to hold the switch while its being used as a roll control switch (which would suck) i need to find another use for the switch...ok thought about it....train horn

mine is hooked up exactly the same bro, I hold the button while staging and then I can release it quickly instead of flippin a switch

yeah stink, but you burn out for racing...i burn out when i am drunk and i need more control:D
