No night runners I know of. Sammy, I don't think anyone with a six speed doesn't live in a city of some sorts with traffic! It's no different than driving a Honda Civic in traffic honestly. My truck is so easy to drive and very docile as a Daily Driver that goes into Psychotic mode at the drop of the go pedal

Well they just replaced the window and roe racing is over nighting me a new slave..the one I bought from rock auto I will use with the jtsvp kit..my wife doesn't want me to get rid of the truck so I am keeping her for now..

This has been a dream of mine for some time. This was my first auto ever! LOL I thought I could get use to it but, I don't smile while driving like when I had my 2006 GTO with a 6 speed. Time to fix that! :burnout:

nice! it will be fun for sure. Those who have done the swap, except SRT2SLOW, swear by the swap. He's just grumpy these days lol
If I had to pull the trans for the third time in the last month I'd be pretty damn grumpy too...
the only issue with the 06 that i found was with the reverse lights..you will need to make your own harness, you need a sct with a 06 rc tune for the truck to start and good luck trying to find a center console..other than that its the same as the 05 swap

I'm going to call some junkyards this week and see if a console can be located. Will I have to swap armrest part of the console too?
