Not necessary IMO.

But it also would not hurt.

Disconnecting the negative terminal is like cold booting your desktop computer. After 30 or 40 miles of driving the monitors all reset and have the oem parameters set.

Looooooooooooooking gooooooooooooooooooood!

i ran an extension through the box & put Justin's valve on it. easier to drain & it drains on the ground

To the ground? You are creating a toxic waste dump...it may require a superfund clean-up site...say it isn't so!!!

:eek:And that water was getting recirculated back into your intake? When I took off my TB I was amazed on how much black oil was pooling inside the intake just behind the TB. It was simply disgusting.

wait till ya see your intake valves. :(:(

it surprised me when i had the intake off for the plug wires.

made sure the valves were closed, got off what i could, sucked out the small stuff.

as far as water recirculated, doubt much if any. most is from condensation from Justin's catch can bein away from the engine
